Lenders may already have their next qualified borrowers sitting inside their own databases. Past applicants and existing customers can remain overlooked because derogatory information on a credit report makes them appear less creditworthy than they actually are. At a time when customer acquisition is becoming more expensive, those missed opportunities leave lenders paying to find new prospects while valuable relationships remain inactive.

TrackStar AI helps banks, credit unions, fintech lenders and credit bureaus take a second look at borrowers already in their databases whose credit profiles may be stronger than they appear. Its Revelar platform uses machine learning trained on nearly 20 years of proprietary dispute-outcome data, including approximately 30 million records, to identify credit-report anomalies that may be affecting how a borrower's creditworthiness is viewed. This enables lenders to reconnect with borrowers and expand responsible lending without changing their underwriting standards. For consumers, it offers a way back into the application process by directing them to free online dispute channels where they can address credit report anomalies. Once their credit scores improve, lenders can reconnect with them and extend new offers.

"We show lenders that there is opportunity within the credit data they're already paying for," says Clint Lotz, president and founder.

Operating through a single API, the bureau-agnostic platform integrates with existing lending environments and works across all three major credit repositories. It can even analyze years-old credit reports stored in lenders' databases, where inaccurate derogatory information often remains unresolved without consumer action.

Turning Existing Credit Data into New Lending Opportunities

TrackStar's ability to uncover these hidden opportunities began long before artificial intelligence became central to financial services. It started as a CRM platform for the mortgage and real estate industries, helping lenders stay connected with applicants who were not yet mortgage-ready. Customer feedback led to the addition of a dispute tracking module that guided consumers through legitimate credit disputes, laying the foundation for Revelar.

TrackStar's impact can be seen in results for both lenders and consumers. Its first deployment increased engagement on a financial health platform by 160 percent within six months. Consumer notifications consistently generated click-through and open rates of 60 to 70 percent, bringing borrowers back to digital banking and financial wellness platforms. As engagement grew, institutions had more opportunities to strengthen customer relationships, while participating organizations reported cross-sell improvements of 30 to 40 percent.

Consumer education is an integral part of TrackStar's approach. More than half of the individuals identified with anomalies were unaware they could dispute inaccurate credit information through free digital channels. TrackStar enables financial institutions to guide customers through the process using white-labeled workflows that integrate seamlessly into their digital banking, financial health and credit monitoring platforms.

Redefining the Future of Responsible Lending

One of TrackStar's flagship deployments with fintech lender Best Egg shows the platform's impact. After re-engaging previously declined and inactive borrowers, Best Egg increased personal loan originations from approximately $4 billion in 2024 to more than $7 billion in 2025 following a full year of deployment. Borrowers who resolved identified anomalies performed on par with or better than the broader lending portfolio, indicating that inaccurate credit data had limited their access to credit.

TrackStar is expanding partnerships with credit unions and advancing a pilot program with a major credit bureau. Future enhancements will provide greater context around identified anomalies, simplify the consumer dispute journey and expand the platform's use across new lending and credit evaluation scenarios. It also aims to help financial institutions identify qualified borrowers in historically underserved communities while supporting fair lending initiatives.

As credit organizations look for new ways to grow, TrackStar AI is advancing a different approach to lending intelligence that looks beyond the initial credit decision to uncover opportunities in existing credit data without increasing portfolio risk.
