The degree of Getzler Henrich’s involvement depends on the level of company distress when it is introduced to the situation. For example, working with a company that needs to file for chapter 11 reorganization requires more participation than dealing with one that is not about to go insolvent.

For example, a companyin the apparel sector reached out to Getzler Henrich’s Retail Practice for financial and organizational reorganization due to an overleveraged position. The primary and most immediate step required was restructuring their balance sheet to prevent bankruptcy. Once it fixed the balance sheet discrepancies, Getzler Henrich dove deeper into the client's issues. It identified that the client was facing a challenge in transitioning from brick-and-mortar to digital. As a result, Getzler Henrich assisted the client with technology implementation to sell their products online and collect valuable customer feedback. It also implemented buy now, pay later (BNPL) technology, making the client one of the first in the U.S. to embrace the Klarna BNPL platform. In addition, Getzler Henrichused AI training to support its client’s employees in adjusting to technological advancements and taking on the responsibilities of digital infrastructure.
