The 2026 Selection Methodology & Regulatory Disclosure

Program Objective

The "Top Financial Services Providers" (e.g., Top Wealth Management Partners, Top IRS Tax Resolution Firm, Top Business Loans Service) is a recognition program that identifies firms and service providers that demonstrate leadership in shaping the financial services landscape. The selection process focuses on firms that drive efficiency, compliance, and enhanced client outcomes.

The Selection Framework

Our research team, in collaboration with the Financial Services Review Editorial Board, an external panel of industry peers, analysts and subscriber-driven nominations, employs a Finance Function Partner Impact Model to identify and recognize companies delivering exceptional value to the finance departments of mid to large enterprises. Subscriber input plays an important role in the process, highlighting companies that professionals across the industry would recommend to their peers, choose for their own organizations or regard as best-in-class within their domain.

Nominees are scored on a scale of 1–100 across the following four criteria:

  1. Strategic Finance Outcomes Delivered (35%) :  Assessment focuses on measurable improvements across planning, controllership, reporting, treasury and compliance. Strong candidates show impact through better forecasting, tighter close cycles, stronger working capital control and improved financial visibility.
  2. Depth of Finance Domain Expertise (30%) :  The editorial board examines command over finance operations, regulatory expectations and enterprise finance complexity. High-scoring firms demonstrate alignment with CFO priorities such as audit readiness, governance and cross-functional coordination.
  3. Execution Capability and Service Quality (20%) :  Scoring considers consistency in delivery, implementation rigor and ability to sustain results. Reviewers look at program management, responsiveness, stakeholder alignment and the firm’s capacity to operate within complex enterprise environments.
  4. Client Confidence and Market Standing (15%) :  Strong candidates earn trust through client satisfaction, repeat engagement and peer recommendation. Evaluation includes subscriber nominations, references and the firm’s reputation as a dependable partner for critical finance initiatives.
